Real Estate Transactions
Tracy Ettinghoff and Barbara Swift have between them over 25
years of experience in Real Estate Law. They specialize in
representing home buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and
brokers, in disputes concerning residential transactions. They
can provide advice concerning the purchase contract (Deposit
Receipt), counter offers, liquidated damage clauses, arbitration
clauses, inspections, warranties, commissions, and all other
aspects of typical transactions. Proper disclosure of material
facts is also handled, including the handling of claims involving
an alleged failure to disclose. Many times clients come to us
after all of the contracts have been signed. It is usually too
late at that point to change any of the contractual terms.
Therefore, if you have questions about your transactions, it is
usually better to seek advice before you sign any contracts. We
will review your documents and provide our expert advice
concerning the effect of the contract on your transaction.
We can also handle your dispute after the contracts have all
been signed and the property goes into escrow, or if it falls out
of escrow. We will guide you through the transaction from start
to finish, and if something goes awry, we will assist you in
solving it. If necessary, we can represent you in Arbitration,
Mediation, or Litigation involving the transaction.
